Brief description:Bristol University is investing £500,000 to help the brightest and best international students come to the University of Bristol. Think Big Undergraduate scholarships and Think Big Postgraduate scholarships are available for courses starting in 2024.

UWE Millennium Scholarship for International Students

ICSP Scholarships at University of Oregon USA

The ICSP scholarship has a cultural service component which requires students to give presentations about their home country to children, community organizations, and UO students, faculty and staff.

Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme at UK Universities

Commonwealth Shared Scholarships are for candidates from least developed and lower middle income Commonwealth countries, for full-time Master’s study on selected courses, jointly supported by UK universities. The scholarships are usually tenable for one year only.

To apply for a Commonwealth Shared Scholarship, candidates must:

• Be a citizen of or have been granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person
• Be permanently resident in a developing Commonwealth country
• Be available to start your academic studies in the UK by the start of the UK academic year in September 2024
• By September 2023, hold a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) standard, or a lower second class degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification (usually a Master’s degree)

You should apply to study an eligible Master’s course at a UK university that is participating in the Shared Scholarship scheme. You must secure admission to your course in addition to applying for a Shared Scholarship. You must check with your chosen university for their specific advice on when to apply, admission requirements, and rules for applying.

You must make your application using the CSC’s online application system, in addition to any other application that you are required to complete by your chosen university. Eiffel Scholarships in France for International Students

Brief description:

The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program was established by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs to enable French higher education institutions to attract top foreign students to enroll in their masters and PhD programs.

It gives opportunity to the future foreign decision-makers of the private and public sectors, in priority areas of study, and encourages applicants up to 25 years old from developing countries at master’s level, and applicants up to 30 years old from developing and industrialized countries at PhD level.

For Master’s level studies, the Eiffel scholarship includes a monthly allowance of €1,181 and can be awarded for 12-36 months. For PhD level studies, the Eiffel scholarship includes a monthly allowance of €1,700 and is awarded for a maximum of 12 months.

In addition, the programme meets various expenses including international transportation, national transportation, health insurance, housing searches, and cultural activities.

Tuition fees are not covered by the Eiffel Programme. However, recipients of French government scholarships are exempt from tuition charges for programs leading to a national diploma (master, doctorate) or accredited engineering degree in public institutions of a scientific, cultural, or professional nature overseen by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, in accordance with article R719-49 of the national education code.

Application instructions:

Applications are NOT accepted from students directly. Applications for EIFFEL scholarships are submitted by French Higher Education Institutions. Applications sent directly by students or by foreign institutions will be declared ineligible.

Therefore, you must apply and meet the requirements of the French Higher Education Institution in order to be considered for the scholarship. Contact the French educational institution or research organization by visiting its website or by emailing or telephoning its office of international relations to learn how to apply for admission (including the date by which your application must be received). Inform them of your wish to be considered for an Eiffel scholarship.

The application deadline to participating French Institutions falls around November-December 2023. The deadline for applications to Campus France is 10 January 2024.

Danish State Tuition Fee Waivers and Scholarships at Roskilde University

A limited number of Danish state tuition fee waivers and scholarships are offered to highly talented students at graduate level, who come from countries outside of the EU/EEA and need a residence permit to study at Roskilde University.
